I have booked an Atrium and need access to the technology?

The Thames Hall Atrium and International and Graduate Affairs Building Atrium, audio visual equiment is in a locked room. 

To access the room, Western Faculty and Staff can request a door code when they make their event booking. 

Students and Outside groups will be required to pay a deposit for a key, which they can collect from the Support Services Building, 5300. 

Who do I contact to arrange catering for an event?

I'm planning a Conference or Private Event?

Please contact Conference Services at Western. 

I have additional requirements for the event?

Please submit a work request to Client Services.

Facilities Management Client Services business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. If you are submitting outside of these hours, or during campus closure periods, please be advised that your email will be addressed in priority sequence when business hours resume.

If you require immediate assistance, please call 519-661-3304 option 4.

If you are looking to request work, please fill out and submit a Work Order Request form (Western Credentials required, for external clients, please email fmhelp@uwo.ca).

I have booked a classroom and the door is locked?

Please contact Client Services on 519-661-3304 option 4. 

Client services buiness hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. If your are calling out side of these times, please contact Campus Police on 519-661-3300.

I'm planning on hosting a charity event on campus, is there anything special I need to do?

In order to host a charity event on campus, we require a letter from the charity indicating they are aware your group is hosting an event on their behalf. This letter will be forward to Western's Communications Office and once approved, we can then proceed with your booking.

Do I need insurance to book spaces for athletic activities?

If you are an outside group booking space on campus, we ask for proof of a liability insurance certificate, in writing, for the amount of five million dollors.

Can I book a room for a film screening?

Unfortunately, we do not book rooms for film screenings or watching televised events, unless it is part of an academic course and is authorised by your course instructor.
